Welcome to the OLA website.

The Old Langtonian Association is currently moving through a period of reform after a slowdown in activity over the last decade. Recent reshuffles in the committee and new faces have brought about a wave of excitement, so much that 65 people attended the last Old Langtonian Annual Dinner and more are expected for this year (the events page can tell you more).

New objectivies and new goals are currently being discussed to make the OLA a more effective body. The current members are exploring ideas of bringing both Old Boys and Current Boys of the Langton together in an effective partnership for the benefit of both. For example, the OLA has recently donated £3,000 to a student run project to provide a climbing wall for the students' use. This is a fantastic project which fulfills the new OLA emphasis on directly helping students and the school.

If you have any ideas or wish to get involved in reshaping the Association please get in touch on the Forums or email oldboys@thelangton.org.uk with your suggestions.

Currently, the 'sporting side' of the OLA is dwindling with only really chess and cricket reguarly occuring each year. If you are interested in organising an OLA sports event please get in contact as we would love to know about it and support your efforts.

The Old Langtonian Association relies heaviliy on the interest and efforts of its members. So if you have any comments, stories, ideas or even wish to volunteer we would love to hear from you.
